Life Update and Subjectivity

This week has been terribly slow so far, but I've had a few writing ideas here and there. That's a plus. It's been an interesting array of emotion as of late. If it counts for anything, I had a brilliant weekend. More than brilliant. Superb if I'm to be elegant with my diction. It will be memorable, to say the least.

I don't know how to pour my thoughts, my feelings, into these posts. Life updates are hard, because relevance is often subjective. For example, I went on a hike on Saturday. I sat on a bench, on the edge of a cliff, and felt alive. I don't think I'd ever been as relaxed as I have this year, other than that walk.

Granted, my legs hurt, but hey...exercise!

Now, for others, it may seem like that weekend was miserable. Maybe your car broke down, maybe you ran out of your favorite cereal, maybe your cat ate the last of your tuna sandwich. Do cats eat tuna sandwiches? I never had a cat.

Anyway.

Brilliance. Happiness. Superb-ness. It's all subjective.

Value is subjective.

So, if I were to update someone on my life, it is entirely up to them on how to perceive said life.

I'm rambling...where was I?

Yes. My life. Right. Stay on task. Okay.

Can you tell I've been bored? These ceaseless rambles, I mean. It's what I do when I'm bored. Time to think leads to all of this. I mean, I've had worse days. I get out of bed, consistently, get dressed, feed the fish. I have coffee every morning. I am routine. It's something to keep my head on straight.

My dad's birthday celebration is today. Taco Tuesday! That's always a plus.

We just celebrated my aunt's on Sunday, so it should be interesting.

I mean we just saw them. Seeing them again. Tacos!

Value is subjective. My value of the situation? Tacos! And my dad too I guess. (I'm just kidding Dad, I love you).

So, yeah. That's about it! More quarantine activities to pass the time. I plan on painting later today, probably another portrait. I've gotten a bit of inspiration, so it ought to be fun.
