I figured I might as well put something on my blog before publishing this website. So, I figured, I post about quarantine. Now, I'm not saying you should go about wearing gloves, a mask, and drowning everything in Lysol (you should know that). I mean to say that life is kind of, very, not really, super boring. There's no inspiration! No sparkles! No things that go, 'oh wow Hannah, that was a really cool trip'.

Well, that's what this post is for, if I can get to my point.

The question of the day/year: Where the hell do I get inspiration in a nationwide house arrest?

The easy answer, folks? Your house. Look at the family dynamics within your home, or maybe how your pets react to things in the yard. Get inspired by the taste of your favorite meal, or jokes between your friends. Sure, you may not get to see a bunch of places, breathe in its air, but you can draw from google images. Make a mood board, a Pinterest board, a bulletin board like you're some kind of noir detective (personal favorite of mine). There's plenty to go around!

Stephen King says that writing is a lonely job. And it can be. You're trapped in your own head, with your own observations, with your own eyes, but even now... we're still connected. Whether its a prompt generator off the web, or a two-am conversation on the afterlife, people can be the greatest asset.

Sure, you're trapped inside.

Just know that there are people out there to help.
